About

I have devoted myself, both personally and professionally, to uplifting the lives of others. My run for Mayor is not about me but rather about all of us here in Chaska. Working hand in hand to bring our community closer together and make life better for ALL. I truly love Chaska, and I'm genuinely excited about what lies ahead as we continue to grow. I bring both passion and practicality to the table—I'm here to plan for our future and fight for the well-being of every single person in our town, honoring our community values. Together, let's be a hometown destination where businesses thrive, neighbors know each other, and everyone feels like they belong

Family

I’ve called Chaska home for over 20 years. I grew up in the southwest metro and graduated from Chaska High School in 2000. Building a life with my wonderful husband Martin has been an amazing journey. This July, we celebrate 20 years of marriage. Our son Ethan brings us immense joy, and we cherish raising him together.

In my free time, I love spending time with family, including our 3 beloved cats Zoey, Arlo, and Morris. One of my favorite activities is walking and biking the trails in Chaska—it's such a great city amenity. I also enjoy reading, archery, and engaging socially with community members and friends.

Professional

I'm honored to have served as your Ward 2 representative on the Chaska City Council for the past 5 years. In addition to my council duties, I'm currently an appointed trustee for the Chaska Fire Relief Association, overseeing the pension plan for our firefighters. I've also been actively involved as a liaison on the Chaska Community Center and the Bicycle/Pedestrian Master Plan community task forces. I am also the informal representative of our city’s Communities of Belonging chapter. Prior to joining the council, I served as Vice Chair on the Chaska Human Rights Commission from 2008 to 2014.

Beyond my civic roles, I've held leadership positions in my professional career. Notably, I served on the board of the Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association (TCPPA) and was honored to serve as its president in 2011. Additionally, I've contributed as a member of the advisory board for the Hennepin Technical College Professional Photography Department, where I'm also an alumni.

Business Owner

I'm the proud owner of a photography studio with a dedicated team and a storefront located in a neighboring community. This spring, I am celebrating 15 years in business! I'm actively engaged in the Waconia Chamber of Commerce and have volunteered with various organizations such as Rotary, Carver County Food Distribution, Christmas in May, Heros & Helpers and Community Education, among others. Serving my community brings me great joy and fulfillment.
